When a butterfly emerges, does it remember it used to be a caterpillar?
Does the butterfly remember it’s journey through the process of metamorphosis that took place ? I don’t know the answer.
What I do know is, as humans we have memory, both in our body and in our intellect.
Sometimes those memories slow down the process.
Our memories of who we knew ourselves to be sometimes trick us into believing the change happening is not real, not possible or just a dream.
We remember the process we went through that shaped who we ‘know’ ourselves to be, and, we remember the process we engage that invites us to become more!
What if…
What if we were to consider being like the butterfly and begin again as our new SELF emerges? What if we release ourselves from the memories of who we thought ourselves to be…or who others think we are, and Imagine who we are becoming? Use the present moment as the guidepost.
The caterpillar is unaware it’s journey is to BECOME the Butterfly…AND… The Butterfly only knows itself as ‘that’!
Until the next time!
