Creation in the pause…
Expansion and contraction is our natural way of being. Contraction, is the gateway to expansion to creation. It’s how new life begins. I believe the first month of our physical distancing invited us to be in contraction mode. We held our breaths. Waiting for things to return to normal.
We’re being invited to consider what expansion could look like. As we sit in the pause, the space where creation lives, who do we have the potential to become if we expand differently into our world?
What world do we want to create for ourselves?
This question is uncomfortable because, we are used to creating based on prescribed outcomes. We don’t know what the world is going to look like…what if this is our new world? This is a very uncomfortable place for most of us to be in. We’re not used to having all this time and space.
How many of you have found yourself filling your time with all kinds of activities? Feeling you ‘need to’ fill your time? I’ve been hearing people say they don’t even know what day it is because there is nothing to hang the day on. What if you allowed yourself to BE in the freedom of choosing minute by minute?
The invitation to create something new is here…
A great amount of energy is required for something new to come into existence. Both contraction is expansion is needed. Whether it’s the birth of a new baby, a tree, an idea, a planet, or solar system. Contraction happens so that new life…expansion can take place.
In giving our Self permission to change our way of being, to shift or disrupt our patterns we may find we have time to do everything that needs attending to. Space and time expands.
I’m curious, what have you given yourself permission to create space for? Have you noticed the chatter subsiding inside your head, or has it increased? When we give ourselves permission to drop into the sensory experience of the moment our intellect is invited to take a break, and expansion, the force of creation, is invited in.
I don’t have answers for you. What I do have are invitations for us to BE in a different conversation with our Self. I am here, ready to stand with and beside you as we each chart our own way through this new landscape.
Until the next time,
Lisa
